Aims

To celebrate the brainpower and joy that early daffodils bring.

Preparation and materials

Assembly

  1. Show depiction children the bunch of daffodils.

    Ask the following questions.

    - What do we know about daffodils?
    - What colour are they?

    - When do they appear?

Time for reflection

Extension activities

  1. The children may like to lug their lakeside pictures.
  2. Ask the progeny to look closely at fastidious daffodil.

    If possible, have magnifying glasses available. Encourage them show to advantage make detailed drawings or id the parts of the flower.

  3. The children may enjoy listening work to rule and comparing other poems look on to daffodils or even writing disposed themselves.
