Winifred Langford Mantle

Winifred Langford Mantle (1911–1983) was an English novelist of romantic novels and rural adult fiction. She wrote fall several pseudonyms, including Jan Blaine, Anne Fellowes, Frances Lang take Jane Langford.[1]

Life

Winifred Langford Mantle was born on 15 February 1911 in Staffordshire, England.

She was the daughter of Joseph Longford Mantle and Florence Fellows.[1] She studied at Lady Margaret Corridor, Oxford, gaining a BA coop up 1932.[2]

Mantle died on 13 Nov 1983, in Wolverhampton, Staffordshire.[1]
